Solar Power in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is characterized by an abundance of solar energy sources as the Kingdom is one of the most high rates of solar radiation in the world. It has internationally competitive capabilities in manufacturing various materials used in solar energy technologies, including the high purity of silica and aluminum and glass industries, the backbone of the PV industry, which makes Saudi Arabia a strong candidate to become an important model for the production of renewable energy and this has led Saudi Arabia to build the largest energy project Solar world.

News
On March 2, 2018, SamaSen, through its specialized team, experimented with the installation of its first intelligent system in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah (Quba’a Avenue), where LED lighting, WiFi connection, video surveillance camera and digital bulletin board were installed.
Under the patronage of His Highness the Royal Commission for the Development of the Enlightened City, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region and Chairman of the Authority, the First International Conference on Humanization of Cities will be held from 24 – 21 Sha’ban 1439 corresponding to 7 – 10 May 2018 at Taibah University.
